Urbana Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Urbana, Ohio.
Urbana Country Club first opened for play in 1922 as a nine hole facility. The course was designed by Paul F. (“Pink”) Dye on land owned by his wife. And so began the three generation legacy of the world famous Dye golf course design. Paul F. (“Pink”) Dye, world famous Pete Dye's father.
Pete learned to play game at Urbana Country Club and it was on this course that he also learned the upkeep needed to maintain a course in first class condition. During WWII, Pete served as the course superintendent.
In 1993, Pete’s son, P.B. Dye, finished the job his grandfather started by adding a second nine holes to the Urbana Country Club Golf Course..
Today, the Urbana Country Club is home to one of the finest and most beautiful rolling hill, 18-hole golf courses in the State of Ohio.
